Exotik Doks

About Us

OUR Roots

Exotik Doks: An authentic African documentary film maker that wishes to reshape global perspectives.

The Exotik Doks that is short term for Exotic Documentaries was founded in 2022 by a Zimbabwean man after realizing that African stories were being written and told by non-Africans and in turn them being exaggerated or unfairly covered. The organization films genuine unscripted stories from all walks of the African life, from traditions to lifestyle. The organization’s aim is to reach screens both in Africa and the rest of the planet. The goal is not to change the narrative, but the perspective on Africa, including educating unsuspecting viewers.
